Almost a Full Moon

I got a new lens recently, a Nikkor 70-300mm VR, it is a really neat lens. Since then I have found out that this lens is a good one to capture shots of the moon with. There will be a full moon on Ocotober 14 so I practiced photographing the moon a bit tonight making sure that all will be fine when I try to get a picture of the full moon in a couple days.
