Noah's First Hair Cut

Well, we finally agreed that it was time for Noah to get a hair cut! It was getting quite long and we loved it but at the same time I think several of the neighborhood birds were scoping out his head as their prospective next home! It was time for a trim. He was not too happy about sitting in the barber chair at first, but after we distracted him with the squirt bottle he did great! I don't know why we were so hesitant to cut his hair...I guess that is something that big boys do, and we are not ready to accept the fact that our little guy is becoming a big boy faster than we could have ever imgained he would.

Friday Afternoon

I took some photos of the big boy and little girl this past Friday afternoon as they played (Noah) and watched (Rylee). Rylee got a bit tired, growing is hard work! She found her fingers and was quite astonished by them. Noah played outside for a bit...the weather is really getting beautiful here now. Afterwards, he came inside and played cars on the stairs, he loves to line them up! It was a fun, slow Friday afternoon.

Noah on the Putting "Green"

Noah and I went to the driving and putting range yesterday after work. Noah showed me a few pointers on the putting green...most importantly how to celebrate after sinking a putt. After he made one (which he would place only inches from the cup), he would raise the putter above his head and yell "woo hoo" and then come and give me a high five. After we finished, he politely returned the flag stick to the pin...I love that guy!

Happy Halloween 2008

Happy Halloween 2008! We had a great evening! Noah helped scrape out the Jack-o-Lantern ("Jack" in Noah's terms) and then we set up our candy table. Noah dressed up as a train driver, complete with "choo, choo" and him motioning as if he were pulling his train bell, and Rylee was Raggedy Anne, she played the part beautifully! Both were super cute. Noah had fun saying "treat" at a few doors and even more fun saying "hi" and "good night" to the kids as they came and went from our front yard. I thought Halloween as a kid was fun...it is even more fun having kids that enjoy it as much as you did when you were young.
